Boundaries, borders,rules and controls--
These are the things we are told we need--
They tell us they are needed for our survival--
That without them we are lost--
We must break free from this belief--
We must free our minds from such beliefs--
How else will we know what it is to live.

I wish we could all live this way, but there are so many who are selfish and think only of themselves. We need rules and control to keep those kinds of people from imposing their desires on others. As it is we fail and we have everything from people who abuse their power (politicians, judges, schools, clergy, etc.) to those who steal, kill, and hurt others. Society polices itself from itself. It is only away from other people -- a life of solitude -- where one can break free from social mores and customs and live freely. But if we are to live in the bustling industrialized societies that we do, we have to follow the rules.
ReplyDeletevanessa ty for your comment but u are still thinking inside the box. i have to believe that without borders & controls those people would be disposed of expediently.
ReplyDeletei believe there are more good,ethical & moral people out there who would not allow such things to happen anymore. if the good people can take action without reprecussion then the bad ones would be illimated in due time.
i do see your point of view in that mind set though.
